what luck is it?!
still couldn't come to terms that we actually ran into geek. like when we least expected it? at the same spot somemore. ayez, what luck is this? it's certainly as good as winning lottery, but on the other hand, geek's appearance was pretty disturbing. if it had been four years ago, i reckon it would be otherwise~ perhaps age is catching up on us? indeed, wacky no more, crazy no more..
after four years, at the same setting, a similar scene replayed and lingered for barely a minute each time.. but this time, we're feeling different now..

darn crap to chilling out
arh ack, eve and i met some blardy slitch at coffeebean yesterday. we were wiping our table with the napkins, and that bs showed us this attitude problem that we were wiping off crumbles onto her precious dan brown's book. please, we weren't even doing that, we do have common sense ok, not that we left our brain at home.. i don't wish to talk about the darn crap that happened in between, but i was glad at least she actually did something nice at the end.. when she's leaving, she turned to me and introduced me her name and asked for mine. (i happened to sit near her, and that slitchy friend of hers near eve.) so with a handshake, she said, "No hard feelings and have a nice day." so yea, it did cool me off but eve was still pissed over it. haa.on a lighter note, alan and ed joined us in the evening for dinner. we actually intended to catch a flick, but all the slots in town were full.. so we chilled out at pre-rouge with a jug of chivas. first sip of it tasted like burbon coke but aftertaste was better. oh, yay, i'm going to drop by at ed's band's jamming session in the studio next sunday~ his band has just budded in feb this year, kinda jet-style, and he even forgot to inform us about his gig at esplanade on national day. his band actually came in first in some kinda band competition, 15 bands altogether and the school of rock champion was second in it. haha, let's see if they're good like what he put it.sheesh, i spent 250bucks on some ~h2o+ products. ack, pain. initially i just wanted to get a moisturiser which cost 56bucks in a promo set, but as usual i was psychoed into buying some other products.. oh well.. still wanna get a nice spunky haircut and red highlights. should i should i..oh yea i've dreamt that i saw geek and smsed jail, "orchard ni geek ga imasu!" haha. ayez, i've got a feeling that geek's here already and he has completely washed off from his mind about his honey-oozing suggestion. jail, yea it's that weally shocking entry's title haa!! when i stumbled upon that, i was like jaws-dropped haha.

Giving Tuition, It's Such A Chorealways have this unwillingness to drag my heavy feet to my students' house to give tuition, and it always gets overwhelming as the time to leave for the student's house approaches. ayez, when will i ever feel enthusiastic in giving tuition eh?! if not for killing some time off hands and the appealing extra cash.. haa, sounds like i'm an irresponsible tutor huh.. put the unwillingness aside, i can still say i'm responsible enough. i actually took the time to type and print out stuff for them to do. not bad huh.. to think i've always disliked mathematics, i actually enjoyed the time teaching the secondary2 boy and secondary3 girl math. haha. but when it came to teaching science, the time just seemed to literally crawl you know.. especially during sec2 topics on living transport systems for humans and plants, or sec 3 chemistry topics on acids, bases and salts where there're tonnes of chemical reactions! like i actually remembered stuff i had learnt a gadzillion years ago eh?! physics would be much preferred yea, at least it's not purely memorisation, applying formulaes to calculations are soooo much easier ain't it?oh yea, the primary6 boy, he's a smart kid who aced his subjects. already smart kids still require tuitions.. to make them even smarter eh? parents, what's the world coming to..? spare them the stress yea.. anyhow, all my lectures will fully resume by mid September.. by that time, i will most prolly be busy with jargoning school work, jappie and tuitions. guess i'm not gonna follow up with the primary6 kid and his tuition shall cease after his PSLE..then again, how time flies, i've taught the sec3 girl for more than a year already.. will certainly follow up till she finishes her O'levels. perhaps the sec2 boy too if he still needs my mentoring. haha..

Dreadful Day..ayez, i'm kinda beginning to feel stressed in my jap class. it's like i actually could cope pretty well with the homework and writings BUT when the teacher bombarded me with questions, i was actually stumped for words!! either i replied in bits and pieces incoherently OR i missed out a few important particles, can you believe that! especially when jail's not there, she seemed to call on me more and more often!! somebody pleaseee converse with me in basic jap!! oh well, the vocab sheets are piling up too, into a hill in no time..accounting (my only lecture which has commenced) on the other hand, it's into the third lecture today. yet, i've not revised the notes at all and the tutorials aren't touched at all. to think my paranoid lecture mate was getting all worked up before, during and after lecture. haha. she's making me paranoid too! sheesh.. what general ledger, what trial balance adjustments.. why am i told to plainly memorise Drawings Expenses Assets Debit and stuff?! ack, i loathe memorising!! guess i will either have to stick to my own logic reasoning.. hur hur, at least i APPARENTLY coped well during the few lectures right.. or i better read up the notes over the weekend before i catch no balls in the next lecture and eventually become listless. bleh..

Charlie AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
yay, finally caught this flick at cineleisure!! i must say it's bizarrely entertaining haha. the crews of merry oompa-loompas were so amusing.. and johnny depp (willy wonka) and freddie highmore (charlie bucket) were as good as they were in Finding Neverland. johnny depp's oddball character has made it more interesting. yummy experience indeed.
not to forget, there were scenes which were somewhat gross, like the burning puppets, a horror kid-flick eh? haha. must have been a lil' unsettling for the kids huh but overall it's magically dazzling enough with all the colourful ambience and acting.

Happy 40th Birthday Singapore!kel+me+eve (NDP preview 2005)
きれいな花火 が好きですね!Sinappore's 40 years old! how time flies, when i participated in the national day parade during the millenium year was like 5 years ago.went to this year's national day parade preview at pandang the other day and it was fun, except for the heavy downpour in the early afternoon followed by little drizzling in the late afternoon. had to put this plastic bag on the wet seat which still wet my skirt. booo. however, drizzling stopped as soon as the parade commenced and it was a really cool day i must say. thank god for that, we neither have to tolerate any summer heat nor rain.as usual, this year's parade showcased the millitary parade. aww, it reminded me of the loads of fun and truly memorable experiences participating in the girl guide contingent in 2000. we certainly wouldn't missed out the 21 rounds of Presidential Gun Salute and Feu-de-Joie. the aerial flypast was awesome, especially the F-16 Fighter Falcons which performed manoeuvres with deafening roars from the afterburners. oh yah the parachutes were awesome too! we were sitting at this green zone which happened that the parachuters swept down from our side. as for the show segment, it didn't thrilled me as much as the others did. ^^; but gotta love the fireworks display!! seeing it made me really happy. oh yea, had always found most national day parade theme songs nice, but surprisingly i don't really like this year's.
